Need some lend a hand beside "waterproof" paneling?

Need a little support here.

My friend is replacing the "waterproof" paneling that surounds his bathtub on three sides. We are trying to install topical "waterproof" paneling. We purchased the 4x8 sheets from Home Depot along with the edging, corner molds and the coalition joint.

I hold cut the two panels to size that will be placed on the put a bet on wall. All the edgings are placed on now I am trying the place on the league joint that will connect the two pieces. Fortunately I enjoy not used the sticky stuff yet.

I can take the union mutual on one panel section but I cannot slip it onto the second panel. I own tried standing the pieces up and lying them down and sliding the union combined - but no luck. I have also tried soapy hose down.

A little help would be appreciated.

Answers:    Don't use soapy river if the panels are made from wood fiber-board (Masonite)... it will exact them to expand and make it even harder to insert the brink.
Use sandpaper and gently spine the edge so that it will slide within easier.
You might gently thaw the plastic strip with a curls dryer, too.
What is happening is that the first piece is pinching the other side down. Try simply putting a corner in, afterwards working the piece up the channel.
I've never put this up individually, but knowing what it is, that's what I would do.
