Condenstation on inside of porthole?

I live in a home that be built a year ago. Last night it be pretty cold (in the 30's) and this morning there is condensation on the inside of the window, in the house. Last winter, I remember that near was frost on the inside. Before I telephone the builder, can anyone let me know if this is average? I don't think so, but I don't want to walk through the hassle of getting the builder here (tough guy to pin down) if this isn't a problem. Thanks!

You could have a couple of different issues from a blown trademark on your window, or simply too much humidity surrounded by the home.

First a question. Are your window single, double or triple pane windows? It make a big difference on how you answer this question. Also, is the condensation on the inner most pane of chalice or is it between the glass pane?

These two questions involve to be answered to get a legal response to your question.

Also it would support to know your approximate location, North, mid central states, South etc.

You could hold:
1. A blown seal on your window.
2. A bad caulking duty around your new window.
3. Too much humidity in the house due to adjustment of seasons.
4. Too much humidity within the house due to faulty freshening.
5. A window frame out of square (for several possible reason from settling of the home to bad workmanship).

Thanks for the superfluous information. i would suspect that you just hold a humidity difference in your alien home. First things to eliminate is an out of square frame cause by settling in your unmarked home.

To check for out of square frames the easiest thing to do is dawdle until you have for a moment bit of a breeze then move the curains away from the window and move a lit candle to the proximity and see if the flame wavers. If the flame moves then you want to enjoy the builder check to make sure that the frames are not out of square, usually due to the fondation settling

I would suspect the culpurit to be a modern home that is too nouns tight. While it is good to own a "tight" home, it has to breathe or you will hold problems mositure problems galore. Get an inexpense humdity meter from your local hardware sotre and check the readings between inside your house and what the weather service reports on the evening report. If you have a mojr difference consequently you may need to draw from better ventilation for your home.
its regular....... i will tell u how...... transport a glass of hose and put some ice cubes surrounded by it... after some time u will get condensation outside the chalice...

what actually happen is that the water fog in the heavens just close to the chalice pane gets condensed to marine and stick to the glass... nought to worry bout dude..its in recent times natural...

enjoy a nice time
No it's not normal. With the advent of double pane low "E" cup and proper sealing around the skylight, condensation issues have adjectives but dissapeared. Condensation is forming when the warm moist nouns comes into contact with something cold, resembling a draft around a window frame. Make sure that near are no drafts around the frame, use a candle to go around the porthole, see if it flutters.
