Freezing pipes?

a very temp situation, but still at least possible 1 winter and in NORTH INDIANA! I hold to supply two 3/4 pex pipes to a 2nd story heated area. to do this, I must run OUT of a heated nouns, THROUGH A GARAGE.this "garage" is a 80' x 25' garage with a 2nd story adjectives living space, but will be unheated except for the back 20. I call for to run the pipes up at the garage ceiling ( floor joists) to the back after UP. the garage walls are not insulated, but I am going to do the floor (ceiling, or joist to 2nd story) if I have the pipe within there, do you deliberate that is plenty? if I insulate all the garage walls too? roast tape that run is over 500 bucks.. I integer I might spend it on insulation I will eventualy need if it will work.?

Answers:    Cheaper than fry tape is to run an electric kiln of some sort in the garage, basically enough to maintain it above freezing. Pipes really do need to be within the interior walls. Can you build a double wall, or an outer box to encase the lengths that run outside? Some society have suggested building a sort of small insulated doghouse type structure around pipes if they must be outdoors. Or merely run heat cartridge on that short piece.
Heat the garage or use heat video. Insulation without steam is not the answer.
