Lead concern?

Hello,

I am building a rocking horse. In order to stability the rocking horse, I am considering attaching a piece of wood with melt lead inside of it.

The head will not be accessable unless someone removes some screws - is this risk-free for children?


Answers:    Yes its OK if it cant be touched by the child. The problem is only from ingestion of head. Not the nearby presence of it.
no as it degrade it will expose to air and possibly children use iron instead
