Sewer queue replacement/repacking trench?

We recently replaced our sewer splash and are left near a 2-3 foot high mountain reach of dirt in our front patio. Will this go away beside settling or do we need to hold our plumbers pack it down more before we recompense them? The trench was roughly 10 foot cavernous and the contract said they would smooth it to ground level and mound for settling. Is 2-3 foot of dirt critical for that? Thanks for the reply.

Answers:    ok i install septic tanks on a daily basis , we dig out 17ftby 6ft insightful
we expect , about 1/4 of the soil to be disappeared o nthe top of bank
however , its not 2-3ft big , this needs to be leveled out
til l in that only going on for 12 high max
insist they horizontal it , or remove it ,
if they installed a sewer pipe, , i bet they had gravel , down in attendance, hence why they have so much departed over, which is normal
but you dont entail it , that will take in the order of three years to go down ,
so get hold of them back on it ..........
All that dirt come out of the hole, and it will settle back surrounded by, in time. If you want it to look pretty presently, they could level it, but within 6 months you'll be bringing in steep...They usually just tolerate it resettle on it's own...happy flushing!!
