We are buying a home that was winterized iwithin the second couple of weeks. The home has a resourcefully that does not have a submersible pump.I be told to prime the pump and let it build up pressure. Then turn on the faucets and agree to all the atmosphere out of the lines. Wait for the hot water cistern to fill next to water in the past you turn on the power or gas to it.
Run some water within each sink so the drain traps gain filled next to water. How do you prime the pump?

remove the plug from the top of the pump housing and pour water down it until it's full ,next install the plug and turn on the pump
