10 year old kenmore heavy duty portable washing machine?

I was given a 10 year old Kenmore Heavy Duty portable washing machine that leaks under the bottom . I would like to know what may be the problem and how or if it can be fixed.

It still washes real good.

Answers:
check ALL the hoses. feel them to see if they are brittle or hard. check for cracks around where they connect. ask the guy that had it before if it leaked. maybe you installed it wrong. if the rubber hose is cracked on the end cut off an inch.

Other answers:
Probably just a leaky hose or connection around a washer. It can be fixed easily but a service call is always going to run at least $50 and I don't know any other way to do it. You may need to replace a part or two but they won't be very expensive parts.

I think Kenmore has a lifetime guarantee like Maytag...call your local sears and see if they'll come out and fix it (only sears sells Kenmore).
