Any idea on what it could be ? It occur every few minutes or so.

Answers:    it sounds like something is airhammering

you've get some debris or nouns in the supply procession somewhere which is slamming at the valve or shutoff

try to locate which plumbing device it is or a closer location of the clamour

this will give you a better impression of what is hammering or shutting the water sour "hard"
This is called "hose down hammer". Easiest solution is to attach a water sledge hammer arrester to your plumbing somewhere, usually in the laundry room. It's merely a short section of pipe that holds nouns and allows the water to expand and contract.
when a house is ancient the pipes are old and sometimes when they are self used they make noise.
Does it happen when the hose down is turned off at any a sink or an appliance (like the washing machine)? It is call water sledge hammer. Essentially the moving water contained by the pipe is suddenly stopped and it "thumps" the pipe, and or the pipe is banging against some of the support structure (beam or joists) for the house.
Water tack hammer can be fixed by installing a do it yourself water tack hammer cushion. They can be attached at the spigot where your wash machine is hooked up.

i mull over you may have a nouns lock let the heavens out by opening spigot on radiator it will make a hissing reverberation that will be the air coming out
Water tack hammer happens when you turn OFF a river flow suddenly (like a dishwasher, a clothes washer, a toilet or even closing a hand faucet suddenly. Shutting rotten the flow suddenly sends a pressure or shock wave down the wet line through the dampen shocking the pipes and creating the 'hammer' noise. These shock top travel faster than the speed of sound and can exert remarkably great instantaneous pressures. Over time, water sledge hammer can damage pipes, valve and eventually weaken pipe joint. Install a water sledge hammer arrestor.
Its a water sledge hammer, try adjusting the spout for the fixture that is making the rumpus. Turn it all the process open and adjust it, it might fix this problem. save you may need to install an arrester or brace the pipes within the wall.
