How do I remove an old "drop=in" stove from my kitchen so I can put in a slide in? Thanks.?

Answers:
I'll assume it is in fact electric BUT,,, even in a drop in there would be a cable, BX?MX etc. visible, and perhaps with some slack once you figure out how the actual STOVE is attached to the surrounding cabinetry.

DROP IN,,, Do you mean Range top? OR all inclusive OVEN and range top?

The removal of the bottom drawer/Broiler drawer will allow you to see the flooring beneath the stove. If you mean the entire unit then you need to shut off the breaker, probably 220 and proceed safely.

Actually the removal process may be easier than an install,,,IE: cabinetry may have to be removed or at least altered to accomodate a range/with oven in that space.

If you wish, offer me more detail and I'll offer a more specific solution.

Unhook it and lift it out.
Unhook it and lift it out.
it it probably hard wired under the small drawer or drawer front below your stove...unhook it and it slides right out...
