Where to add Bleach in Kenmore Washer?

10 year old Kenmore HD washer has funnel spout
in center of agitator that is marked to accept
liquid fabric softner. (which I don't use) . Is this
where you add bleach? Or do you directly to the
tub water? at risk to the clothes. There is no other port.
I do not have owners manual for this machine.

You have to be careful, sometimes that will make it splotchy (even fabric softener, but especially bleach!) It is usually best to add the bleach to the wash water before you add the clothes, towels, etc. If you want an owner's manual you can usually request one from either the website or there should be an 800 number on the machine itself, look under the lid, there also might be bleach directions on there as well.
