My washer electrical device hose down keep going even after it supose to stop?

the cold water wont stop after satisfying up. its a maytag. and i dont really think i should buy a latest one if its just a segment that needs to replace. so what i own to do is when its filled is shut sour my cold water touch for water stops, if i dont it floods my laundry room and keep going till i shut cold water slap off


Answers:    If you can find the pressure switch hose(hose hooks to the outside of tub and up through console) and remove it and if you can't blow through the hose it is blocked , blow through harder and the rabble that builds up over the years wil come out which keeps nouns pressure from reaching the pressure switch.Then again the other guys may be right and sediment got into the dampen valve keeping spout open even after electricity is shut sour to valve. Hope I be a help
