What is wrong beside my refrigerator frothy?

I changed the bulb and I put in a strange switch. What else could it be. The fridge is a 10 year old Amana.

Answers:    If the buoyant is on all the time, check and see if the door is making and breaking contact next to the new switch. Maybe the door is ajar lately enough not to undo and close the switch.
If the light is stale all the time and you changed the bulb and switch, you own a wire problem. Check the electrics at the socket, there might be a loose or broken rope or bad nouns.
oh, maybe a unusual fridge
It may b broken.
Maybe its time to get a foreign refrigerator.
It's burnt out.
A broken flex somewhere. Check continuity between the switch, bulb, and the power cord WITH THE POWER OFF.

Their may be a bad nouns (well obviously) so you probably might want to look at the wiring that go to the light, that may include getting a tentative wiring harness. It shouldn't be too expensive.
10 yrs. is outmoded for a fridge. The light may be the smallest of your problems at this point. Might want to look into a new one.
Remove the power and remove the bulb and in that is a tab in the center of the receptacle. Get something to verbs the tab up so it makes better contact. Sometimes you can procure it with your finger, but I use a scribe beside a 90 deg offset so I can grasp ahold of it.
It may be the socket check the bottom center contact point (Power Off) if its burned or blackened scratch it up a bit to expose metal and verbs it forward a little, after turn on power and try your bulb.
