What would manufacture the pilot buoyant on my hose down space heater move about out?
Answers: The thermocouple is bleak this is the small copper looking tube that goes from the gas tap to the burner it is a saftey that tells the gas tap weather or not the flame is burning and if it is not it will shut off the spigot.
You can replace this yourself fairly effortless but if you have any doubt do not attemp it ring a plumber to do it for you remember it is a saftey devise and could be ugly save done correctly/If you live in an apt. telephone call the landlord they will do it for free.
mind you,...I am no expert....but;
conceivably you have a draft proximate blowing it out.
maybe in that is an issue with the heating system that needs looking at by a tech.
is it CLEAN underneath there? nearby isn't a lot of fuzz keeping the pilot from staying on?

Is the hose heater exposed to a draft? Has it be windy lately? These are some trouble-free explanations. Other wise your themocouple may be failing. Easy to replace, a short time ago remove and take to the hardware store for exact replacement. They never budge out at a good time!
