I also noticed that the immense copper line is covered within about 1/2 inch of rime...Does my unit obligation recharged???
Answers: It sounds to me like the coils stipulation to be cleaned out because the evaporator can not do its job properly.
1.) shut the element off and permit all of the rime melt.
2.) run an air hose or a vacuum, or a garden hose and verbs the coils out (the part beside all of the little fins)
3.) turn it on again
if this doesn't fix the problem, consequently you might have a refrigerant seepage somewhere in the system.
