How do I stop highly polished brass from tarnishing?

Try using silicon spray or balistol spray....this will give a high shine and give your brass a fine coating or protection from moisture in the air.

There is a fibreglass coating that stops the metal from any harm. I don't know the exact name. But i've heared that after applying it you needn't polish it again. (well you cant after that)
You could try varnishing after you have polished.

Brass will always tarnish u have to keep polishing it as soon as it starts to tarnish.
You can buy some brass lacquer from any good diy shop, it's a special varnish for brass, apply after polishing and brass will stay good for 4-5 times longer. Polishing again removes lacquer so just re-coat.
