Men singular please "finding sewer path"?

My sister is bought this building and in it is a bathroom and shower ,but she said it never be finished ,the land does own a sewer system but she can't find it noone knows where on earth it is on the land .again remember it be never hooked to the building she is buying ,but the home before have sewer there .Does anyone know of a opening to track it without digging the undamaged land up ???Thanks


Answers:    If you don't know where on earth the septic tank is afterwards get a metal rod almost 3/8 " thick and roughly 5 ' long. Start poking the ground where you expect you might find the tank. Then when you find it you should know because the cover will be with the sole purpose 6 to 12 inches from the ground and the rod just won't step in the ground when you find the cover.
Take the cover rotten and it can be heavy. look contained by the tank and see which extremity has the pipe foremost from the house. The pipe will be big ( several inches across ).
You still will need to follow the pipe to the house ( if nearby is one ) but this should save some steps.
