How do you properly dispose of old light bulbs?
Answers:
incandesant light bulbs are safe to throw in the garbage but the glass on fluorescent and halogen bulbs contains lead which is poisonous to all animal life so if you want to save the animals bring them seperately to a disposal site and they will dispose of them safely so the lead doesnt get into the water supply

i believe someone once told me to put the bulb (broken or not) into a small plastic bag and tie it up. then put it inside a box that can be sealed shut and label it glass. that way anyone that may be handeling it can identify the contents and know the proper way to handle them.
