roofs should last 20yrs or so if done correctly did the prior owner vacate the name of who did the roof past? if not you may own a hard time getting any generous of warranty information
We just get our roof replaced and they gave us a 15 year warranty. The roof it replaces last 20. Get out the roof papers and read the contract. 10 years is a short life for a roof. dutiful luck.
