Assuming it is planed and 5.75" or less across you will make it.
Usually, except some 2x6 require a slight lift at the end of the cut to complete the cut. Perhaps the newer models can completely cut through that board. This answer is based on a static 10 inch miter saw and not the ones that are sliding on a track.
