My see disposal won't turn w/an allen knob (kink within metal)- could this hold be cause by p-nuts or cloves?

I checked out the unit - it give a light humming - i.e. motor is trying to work. It turns to some extent with the allen knob. I turned off CB, pulled peanuts and cloves out (its at rental unit). i'm trying to determine if tenant is responsible - purely ONE of the blades wont rotate 100% - it seems there's a small "kink" within the metal bottom - I can make the blade turn but by raise it slightly. Thank you

Answers:    A fork is the more likely culprit. Peanut shells are stringy, which is resembling celery...just clog it up. Cloves will knock around surrounded by there, but do no injure. If the unit is elder, then possibly the blades were loosened during usual wear and tear. Nobody's eccentricity really, unit only needs replacement.
Bottom splash, it takes something harder than the blades to bend the blades...I can't estimate of a food product that would do that.
Peanuts/cloves are just a few things made to step INTO a garbge disposal. Now u might consider that they dropped something metal down there resembling silverware but, i think fixing it would be your own upkeep responsibility
