Gas hose stove pilot will flimsy. When I turn on the burner everyhing go out.?
Answers: Insure that the tip of the pilot thermocoupler (copper pilot line) is contained by the flame -- and that the pilot flame isn"t getting blown out when you turn the gas on. Clean the pilot tip assy. with a fine rope --- adjust the copper thermocoupler tip so that the pilot fire hits the tip part give or take a few a 1/4 inch approx.
This allows the main spout gas to come on ,and stay on.
Are you sure flood water did not procure inside the burner plate assy. ? Check again on this.
There might be air surrounded by the lines so the gas is not getting to the burner, let the gas dissipate for awhile and try lighting it again and after it lights hold it for a few minutes to return with the gas going. My gas water stove goes out sometimes and I enjoy to hold down the igniter for a minute or two before turning on the gas
