I tried cleaning my coffee maker near water and a lilttle bit of soap and wet I turned it on so it would "brew" it did perfectly and cleaned it. I be then going to run it again near some plain water and very soon it wont brew? Did I break it ?

Probably got hose inside where sea shouldn't be. Let it dry a day or two and consequently try it again.
What kind of soap did you use? How much of it did you use?
It is possible that the hose intake hose is clogged.
Just buy a new one. Its close to 15 bucks.
