How do you install the orange backlight for your doorbell button?

There is a small bulb inside the button housing.

First, be sure to turn off the power to your doorbell transformer.
Most doorbell switches have two screws that hold them in place. Just undo them and pull the switch away from where it is mounted. There will be a pair of wires attached to the back. The back plate of the switch should come loose to gain access to the back-lite. Just change out the bulb and put everything back together. Turn the power back on and you should be set to go.
If your local merchant does not have a bulb in stock, just change the whole switch; they are not all that pricey.
