Please oblige me Im unsullied at sewing!?

Ok so i got this contemporary sewing maching (singer) and i can't seem to find the right tautness im soo confused!!! and now my upperthread won't even stay contained by my needle please give a hand me before i shutting down up breaking my sewing machine by stupidy!


Answers:    check that your apparatus is threaded correctly
check your needle is ok....not bent or missing the tip....this is a adjectives reason for machines thread breaking
also check you are using a fitting thread, as cheap ones will also snap the cotton
then finally...to check the rigidity put in two different coloured threads....influence red on top and white bottom....use a different coloured cloth....then sew a couple of inches.....own a look at how the threads interlock......if the top cotton shows loops....then you bobbin rigidity is incorect and you will have to check it is threaded right and/or the tiny screw requests tightening/loosening......if it is the bottom thread that is looping....after tighten the tension dial.
