It is a whirlpool side by side ,and it doesn't produce as much ice as I think it should,also it forms a solid block of ice in the bin if left unchecked.

you seem to be getting a lot of condensation,, usually from opening the freezer too much,, this condensation freezes into little drops after you shut the freezer again,, common in warm rooms and mostly older units,,you may have a dirty or bad gasket on the door too
