Why is baseboard heat so expensive?




Answers:    It is in elder houses, too much air escape (heat loss) and the price of hydro is outrageous these days. It's not so unpromising in a nouns tight house (newer homes). Electric heat is 100% simplified, there is no exhaust. So no grill is being expelled out side approaching in a vent heating system (like gas furnace)

Because it uses fuel grease and that stuff is around 3.80 a gallon here. Turn down the thermostat to about 68 and put on a sweater
