A Serious question about oil on my brick drive!?
next person to park on it, as it might be me????
Answers:
The quicker you treat it the better. Keep some cat litter in a waterproof container in case it happens again, and put it on straight away. It'll soak up the worst of a wet spill.
You need something that acts on grease; if you've got any biological washing powder or stain remover you could make up a solution in hot water and loosen it with that. It might take a couple of goes but I cleaned up my tarmac driveway with it.
The old fashioned stuff is a very hot solution of washing soda crystals, it acts like magic on grease and lifts it up.
Other answers:
Pour cat litter on it. It usually leeches the oil out of cement, it could work for brick.

may require an acid wash to remove the stains. ask at home depot or lowes for some products
Toluene is a really good solvent for this. Since this solvent is lighter than water your driveway will need to be dry before you use it. Read the hazards before you use it. You can get it at a hardware store.
Canadian Tire sells a driveway cleaner. Don't ask me the name of it though. Look in the driveway sealer area of the store.
Maybe try spraying some WD40 on the area, scrub with a scrub brush. Then use dish soap and warm/hot water to remove the rest and the WD40.
washing up liqiud/soap, just make a mild, not foamy, mixture of washing up liquid and water, like bubble blower liquid. that worked really well, coz me n me mate nearly got into trouble coz of messin wiv oil on her dads driveway!
There is a motorcycle cleaner called "GUNK" Apply undiluted scrub in, leave for a few hours and hose off. Should work
