Is outdoor heat between 40 - 50 degree to cold to stain or weather proof a deck?
Answers: i wouldn't it would be a waste of money if it did not set up correctly upper 50's ego say yeah move about right ahead but if you slap it on and god forbid it rains or the temp plummets it would be a rubbish, goes for sculpture as well 40's the paint would start to gum up
not just right, but you can do it.
Just read the info on the can. It usually has recommended heat range.
If you use it when it's colder than recommened, it will purely take longer to dry, and the paint may be a touch thicker than usual.
Most products need almost 70 degree temps to set a dry properly. We have a deck at another home and had to stain it.
