My Hunter ceiling disciple make a grinding clatter and sparks when on glorious speed. Help!?

It's 5 years old and I've never have a problem before. We use a switch on the wall to control the enthusiast. No problems when on low or medium. Is this fixable...or should I purely buy a new one?

Answers:    Sometimes these cieling fan need a bit of cleaning on the inside and the outside, basically like you would next to other appliances. These fans not solely blow air, but also hold your attention air, and within the air there's other dust which accumulates and it get stuck in the motor of the admirer, so that's when you start seeing problems, like it may run too prompt, too slow, or is just doesn't work anymore. Or, it could be that the aficionado is ready to dance, even if you haven't had any problems. May own some wires that are breaking apart, this could be another reason. If you can fix it, great....except, get yourself a hot one.
The first thing to do is to turn it stale. Are the sparks from electricity or metal draging on metal? It needs to be taken down and the problem fixed. It sounds similar to the bearing are going desperate. If that is the crust it will just receive worse. It is probably not fixable. Or at least not cheaper to fix than buying a tentative one. Don't burn the house down trying to keep cool.
If it make sparks, replace it. Sparks are bad. They start fires.
