How would I attach a 20lbs grill propane tank to a 12kw guardian generator for a test run?
Answers:
Make certain that you have attached a low pressure regulator to the tank first! A gas grill regulator may not allow enough gas flow to properly check operation. Call your local propane supplier to assist you with this. Your warranty will not cover damage due to inproper installation.

My company installs allot of the generators you are talking about. Using a 20Gal tank is definitely NOT recommended for testing, unless done by a LICENSED Plumber or Propane dealer. The generator should be hooked up to you propane heating supply or Natural Gas (If available). I would strongly suggest that you hook this up to your propane heating supply before you test.
