how do i gert rid of cockroaches? I tried spray, it kills but they keep coming back.?

Answers:
Cockroaches are extremely tough to kill, where I live. It must be the cockroach capital, and I have a way to get rid of them in my apartment. The first thing you need to do is to seal every crack and crevice with some latex caulk is about a dollar tube. You need to seal any crack in the ceiling seal around plug-ins and light switches around the sink. Especially where the pipes come in, and the train goes out. If you see a cracker crevice fillet with caulk once you have filled anywhere the little buggers get into your home. Place a view sticky traps in places where they can't be seen or any pet can get to them since cockroaches enter your home to eat clean the kitchen. Do the dishes, take out the track. If you're not feeding them they will slowly die of starvation or go away this seems to work the best for me since I always seem to move to apartments that have been built eons ago. And they are normally cockroach infested when I move in and virtually free of any cockroach within a week of my arrival good luck

I believe basically the best solution is to contract a certified exterminator, a professional, and have them vacate them from your residence. But, they will need to come back and treat your dwelling again for they don't just die, more-so they leave, and then come back. These buggars will still be around well after we as humans perish this earth. So, save yourself alot of money and contract a pro. (by contract, that way you get a gaurantee and maybe you can contract them for a year.)
I had a super problem with cockroaches, a few years back, when I lived in Maryland. Now if your building has a problem with moisture, you won’t be able to get rid of them. totally. But here are some things that can help reduce the number you see. First clear out one room at a time starting with the two worst rooms’ kitchen and bath for most people. wash every thing (roaches leave a scent to follow back to food) Clean out cupboards so there is nothing in them. and remove all drawers. Then take some Raid ant and roach killer and spray any place where cupboard and wall meet. As well as above the cupboard and below where the floor meets the cupboards. wait a few days before putting dishes back in. DON"T keep any perishable food in the cupboards, things like bread, and pasta, and cereal, should be kept in the fridge if you don't have a completely air tight container for them (I keep bread in the fridge any way. it stays fresh longer) If your oven is self clean turn it on once a week to get rid any food or grease left behind, (make sure you are home for that) Wash containers before throwing them in the trash, and stuff you can't wash shouldn't sit in the house overnight ,don't leave dishes in the sink over night.. for the rest of the house, you clean the whole floors starting by clearing the room, and then spray the perimeter, where the wall meets the floor, and any large cracks or vents. This process makes the living space un interesting for the roaches. They won’t come if there is no food. And most often they wont pass over a strong Raid barrier(they don't like the smell), but you have to freshen that barrier every few months, more so in the rooms you wash more, like the kitchen and bath (I only did the cupboards once, after that I didn't see them in there)
If the home is yours go the extra step to remove any wet or rotten wood under sinks, and you can remove old caulking with a razor and replace it with a new fresh seal of caulking to block areas that they like to come in. (you can calk seams between floors and walls to in rooms like the living room and bedroom.)
Ps you can call an exterminator a million times roaches only leave if there is no reason for them to stay. Bait traps attract them into your home and Don't forget to ventilate when spraying.
catch one. paint its a.ss pink and the rest of em will die laughin'. no charge
