Sounds similar to you are going to have to cut the drywall out and re due that constituent. You will have to spray the studs to butcher the mold, before this is done. You may hold to buy a new toilet. don't put runner in the hip bath room--nasty.
Joker is correct. I am writing to locate your toilet leak. From what you said, it sounds resembling the ballcock ( the part that refill the water after respectively flush) needs to be replaced. The ballcock is not stopping at set even and is filling within faster than the overflow tube (open hole) can collect.
