Answers: First check to see if the electrical breaker has tripped ,if ,contact the A/C guy.
My A/C unit stopped working outside concluding week.. luckily it was cool for the recent past 5 days but today was h3ll. I believe it is due to a paucity of freon and the low level will trigger the component to not activate.
Some enjoy said it is the compressor failing but mine would turn on after turning it on and off a couple times until immensely recently.

Is the outside part making any noise at adjectives? If it's just the follower not spinning but the compressor is working, then you might have need of a new motor, or most potential a new capacitor for the motor, or check the electric wiring. If neither the compressor or fan are running on the outside section, try replacing the fuse, which should be inside a box mounted on the outside wall of your house right next to the a/c. This is a adjectives problem which is easy to fix. If you don't know much around electricity and motors then you should give the name the a/c guy. He would know what to do more than an electrician.
you either hold a condenser fan motor problem, i.e. motor or contactor, or an electrical problem...possibly a tripped circuit breaker inside or outside...if near is no breaker outside there are a couple of fuses contained by the gray box attached to the wall of your house..check those. Also check (with power off) if your condenser fan turns freely..tolerate me know if I can help
most plausible a tripped breaker. look at the filter. when they are dirty it is bad could effect a overload or freeze coil. buy a new filter. other call the hvac guy if the component itself is the problem
Ok you need an A/C man contained by to repair this problem. An electrician cannot perform the requisite repairs and more importantly, is not licensed to handle refrigerants.
There really is naught you can do to test or repair this one. Bite the bullet and obtain the experts in. Word of proposal, don't scrimp on the company/person you choose, you get what you money for in the heavens conditioning industry with warranty and guarantees etc, some of the smaller boys tend to disappear if you know what I mean :)
Contact an A/C service Technician they can brand 99.9% of the electrical repairs to your home A/C.
Check all your breakers inside your home and their perchance one at the unit as okay. If the breakers are good contact an A/C tech.
It could be the thermostat,contactor, loss of freon (if the section has a loss of charge switch), or tatty wires.

Ok check list here 1. Check the t-stat brand name sure the settings are cool and the temp set ponit is below indoor temp 2. Check the circuit breaker in electric panel turn it fully rotten then on again 3. Outside where on earth the wires come from the house you may have a disconect switch ensure it is on and if its fused the fuses are well brought-up. Heres where i recommend you stop and appointment a qualified HVAC guy. There could be a number of things wrong inside your condensing component that are too complicated for the average home owner.
