Question concerning gas fires?

I have a gas fire near a gas back boiler. My cross-examine is can i disconnect the gas fire leaving a hole near the back boiler and consequently getting a electric fire and standing flush against the hole?

any advice would be greatly welcome.

Answers:    yeah classed as one appliance and removing the fire affects the flue system of the back boiler if you really cant stand the verbs of the fire front you will need to upgrade your heat system by fitting a combi boiler ( gets rid of tank and hot water cylinder & give more space and better hot water pressure)
or a boil only boiler which is practically impossible to tell apart as your back boiler just safer and generally wall mounted at the present time
both of which will lower your gas bill
extras which you may need thermostatic radiator valve
room thermostat timer/programmer
both are safer as they are room sealed appliance
study big companies as they charge large amounts and dont in general check who they employ reputation is the push button
cheap isnt always best

any question or problems phone 8-5
hope this helps
dont mess going on for with gas appliances, its to risky , thats why even plumbers have to be corgi registered
