The problem with Sears is that they subcontract all of this type of installation work. By doing so, they loose all control of scheduling and, to a large extent, quality. Low pay to their subcontractors aggravates the problem. This is a nationwide problem for them.
A phone call to the store manager followed by a phone call to the district or regional manager should get quick results. The district or regional manager will put intense pressure on the store manager to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. After all, they don't want to loose you as a customer to Lowe's or Home Depot.
