my power company put my power on a limited output due to me owing money on my bill.It be paid and it took them 24 hours to purloin off the constraint clip that was apparently solitary enough to run the furnace on low.Due to winter conditions they don't or can't cut you past its sell-by date completely. The following day (after the 24 hour insufficiency of power to my heating video,etc under the mobile),no hose down would come out of the taps. I go under the mobile and indeed it is frozen. we purely happened to hold a few days of -20 the day the power company restricted my power. what great luck. I took a tack hammer and chipped away the ice that surrounded some of the pipes. It is surrounded by the one half of the mobile but the husband is fine. I don't see anything broken but I am wondering if it will thaw once I hold the heating cartridge working? some more of the cord is still trapped under the rime but I have a broken arm so it is really difficult to do. The weather is radiator for the next few days 2. Any suggestions for me? HELP
Answers: I might be rather late, but don't use a torch or anything that have a flame...the risk is too high to capture something on fire. You can use a hairdryer, bake lamp, warmth gun, or anything of that nature.
Open the COLD side of the faucets on adjectives of faucets...NOT the hot. You might end up draining your hot dampen tank while it is functioning, and when the ice loosens up and the freezing dampen runs into your tank to compress it, the ice cold dampen will hit the hot tank and it could crack the container.
Leave your cabinets sympathetic, just to allow somewhat extra heat to obtain to the pipes from in the house while you turn under nearby and manually thaw your pipes.

a propane torch will work. Open the faucets. and becareful not to set anything flaming. wave the torch slowly adjectives over the pipes. Or use a hair dryer.
