Customer used diffuser on glasstop to simmer soup. When removed, resulting stain won't come stale. Any proposal?

Have used the cleaner that came beside the glass stovetop. Suggested vinegar, soft scrub and teflonsafe scrubsponge. Has that little cut-throat that came near glasstop and used that too. Anyone else had this problem next to a diffuser?
