How long does the council hold to transport out repairs to inside heat?

i had my federal heating system "serviced" by the coucil closing week wednesday, as a result they have turned of the in one piece system and said i need to own a new disciple.

i seemed to enjoy spent countless hours on the phone trying to find out when they will be out to repair it, as i was told on thursday it would be today, ring them about 10 times this morning solely to be told that they do not know when the parts will arive.( i took a day rotten uni to stay in and hang around for them)

they have supplied me next to two tiny heaters but the house it still freezing,but i still have to hold the cooker on in the kitchen to hold the place warm (and i do not want to judge about how much this will cost me.)

i be trying really hard not to loose my anger with the guy on the phone, but im so bleeding cold!!

freshly wandered if any one have any advice on what i should do next( apart from stay below the blankets)

does the council have fetch out repairs within a secure timscale ??

Answers:    I don't know if the council enjoy time limits for repairs, but I cannot focus of any reason why a supporter would be removed in the work of servicing a boiler, if the fan wasn't working, the boiler would shut down (so I quality the council are being ripped past its sell-by date for starters, many companies repay engineers commission to 'find' extra work), a fan should be available in general within a couple of days, which make the delay nouns like a manpower (cutbacks) problem. e-mail your local mp, they usually find things moving when you get on to them.
Central Heating, blankets, heaters, you want to deduce yourself lucky. There are people surrounded by Africa etc etc..................
