Heavy calcium build up on pool tile; What is the best product to use to remove it?

I have what appears like heavy calcium build up on my pool tiles. What is the best product to use to remove it.

Answers:
Calcium build-up on tile should be cleaned weekly using comet or some such. Much easier to clean as you go instead of waiting til it's a monumental job. Best product I've found for removing it is called "Scale-Be-Gone". The pool store might have to order it for you, though. It is a gel. Paint it on and let it sit until it stops bubbling. Then rinse. Caution: the stuff bites so be really careful when using it. It is a combination of 3 acids and will burn skin severly. Use rubber gloves. DO NOT use on anything except pool tile. It will burn holes in other types of tile.

lime is your problem use lime away
lime is your problem use lime away
CLR works a bit faster than limeaway, at least that is my experience
mister clean magic spong will work .. i use it in my pool ,, have you taken a pool sample in because that sounds like it might not be enough calcium in your pool ,, check for hardness
what happens if it does not have enough it pits it from your pool walls do u see little calcium balls in the bottom .. please check for hardness ...
Forget what the pool guys say. The problem is due to the hardness in your water, have it tested. Depending on where you live there may be nothing you can do to reduce it. Pool water should be below 400ppm hardness, and if your like me, the water coming out of the pipes is 360, so draining won't help much.

To get rid of the calcium build up use a pumus stone and elbow grease. Any "cleaner" (Lime Away, CLR, etc) will be mixed with you pool water causing even more problems.
Avoid fumes. Use pool acid. It is muratic acid. Need a bucket to first add water then add acid. 2 to 1 to start, apply with a brush on pole. Dip in bucket and splash on tile. No more fizzing hose off and reapply as needed. You can make solution stronger or weaker. DO NOT BREATH FUMES OR USE BY SKIMMER AND CHECK POOL WATER. If PH is high when tested. Add soda ash to bring down. If working by skimmer turn off motor. So acid does not strip copper pipes and add color to plastor. safety first
