What does SEER stand for and how are smaller/larger different-10 to 14 SEER ?
Answers:
SEER stands for "seasonal energy efficiency ratio". It is really just stating how much energy it uses for it's total amount of cooling output. A change from SEER 10 to SEER 13 represents a 30 percent improvement in energy efficiency. It looks like the unit is usually only a few inches taller to go from a 10 SEER to a 13 SEER unit.
