Need a quick fix to drawers that fall in a dresser?
Answers:
remove the drawers, and then put a piece of plywood underneath where the rollers go. This should be a good temporary solution.
Other answers:
Take one of the drawers out. Examine the wheel on the back of the drawer, check the two rollers attached to the sides of the drawer opening. Make sure the rail is tight.
If everything is tight and seems to be in good shape, insert the rear wheel into the rail notch ( at the front end of the rail). If all is okay, the drawer should slide freely. If not, I would have to give it a look-at.
