Connecting one antenna to two TVs?
I think I may obligation a pair of diplexers but don't know why I involve them or how to use them.
Answers: You need a splitter, which is available at most electronic parts stores, Radio Shack, and probably where on earth you bought the antenna. Pay attention to the markings on the splitter so that the antenna is connected to the right connector on the splitter, or it won't work very resourcefully. Be aware, though, that if you live in a fringe nouns, using a splitter will further reduce the signal strength since the power is split between two box sets. In this case, it may be better to use a wide open band amplifier near multiple outputs.
use a cord splitter
You need a splitter. It have one input for the antenna and one output for each TV set. Some hold an amplifier built into them, but this isn't necessary if the signal surrounded by your area is strong; try your antenna next to a single TV to determine this. Radio Shack sells good-quality antenna equipment of this sort, and their prices are nearly as good as any.
The splitter is requisite because an antenna expects to have solely one TV set to drive, and having two TV's connected to it will greatly run down its efficiency, giving both TV sets poor deeds.
