Be sure the surface is clean; you may want to sand the existing finish for a moment before you start. Other than that - acquire a brush and a can of paint, and start painting :-)
follow the instructions on the paint can
U might requirement a ladder too....some brushes & paint.
Clean them tangible good, tolerate them dry. Then paint them with a primer call KIL. Maybe two coats letting dry between coats then paint the color you want. This may also clutch two coats. Ask you home improvement store roughly speaking some of their antique kits.
depends on the size of the cabinet. if they're large, you'll have need of two pants respectively.
First wash beside a TSP (trisodiumphosphate) solution. (Available at Home Depot or Lowes)

Second sand the surface lightly next to sandpaper. (Just to take past its sell-by date the sheen of exsisting finish)

Third use a primer like Kilz (Latex or Oil base, depending on the paint you'll use)

Fourth - Paint the cabinets - if you want a slick finish I recommend you use a "Cup Gun" and nouns compressor. If you want texture paint with a roller and and when a short time ago tacky be in motion over with a wadded up plastic sack. The possibilities are never-ending.

Good Luck !!
