woodchucks chew thru the wire to our water fountain.How do we stop it, short of trapping the woodchuck?
Answers:
put peanut butter on the wire and let him chew. when he gets zapped and dies just replace the wire and install it in conduit.

Puree 2 tsp. Tabascco pepper sauce and 3 cloves garlic ina blender, add 3 cups water and 2 Tablespoons dawn dishwashing liquid, then stain into a spray bottle and coat the wire with this. Or you could try tie small pieces of ivory soap to it, sometimes the soap keeps small animals away.
run new wire thru conduit and spray vinegar and water mix around, 50/50 mix, don,t get crazy just be liberal with the spray, will also help with skunks
