How do you carry the square footage of a room when the room is 20 foot wide-ranging and 50 foot long?

Answers:    to get any square footage for anything from a house, to a room, to a roof - purely multiply length times width = 20x50 = 1000 square foot. If your measurements are ever in inches you must consequently multiply it again by 12 because there are 12 inches surrounded by 1 foot.
You have to multiply the extent and the length.
So 20 ft. x 50 ft. = 1000 sq. ft.
