Can I reaplace my own very well Pump?
More details: I suggest the pump is about 12 years behind the times. It's a Sta-Rite brand pump... one horsepower pump (Model MSE 6)
The pump sits upright, right on the wellhead and the merely pipe I can see above ground is a PVC pipe of about 2 1/4" outside diameter.
Can I face this on my own, or do I need to name a well guy?
Thanks surrounded by advance.

Your biggest duty will be removing the pump and all the piping to the bottom of your very well. A WORD OF CAUTION, IF YOU DROP ANY PART OF THE OPERATION, YOU LOSE, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO DRILL A NEW WELL........ recovery of the
NO, on second thought CALL THE WELL GUY, you're better bad and the cost will be somewhere in the neighborhood of six to seven hundred dollars for everything.
