Apply some Goo-Gone to it. Let it stay on there for a while for it to penetrate. Or try something with citrus in it.
Believe it or not...WD-40 will remove just about anything! even crayons from walls.
First, you should try those regular sponges with a degreaser of some kind , i,e, hardware stores sell great degreasers for cars, and is used on the outside of the car esp, for removing duct tape, maskin tape and scotch tape residue. It is only 4.99 to 5.49 per bottle, if that does not work I have a cleaning service and have encountered similar problems, again if the degreaser with the sponge lightly rubbed fails, while you are at the hardware store ask them what they think would work for duct tape removal. I hope you find what you're looking for. Try Lowes, or Aco.
I suggest trying to use goo-gone or miracle whip or ony other mayo brand leave the mayo on for about 15-30 minutes and it should take it off. I have used that or the goo-gone many times. The goo-gone is sold at Walmart and some dollar stores.
Finger nail polish remover, acetone, lacquer thinner.Use it sparingly as the fumes are harmful. make sure that no open flames and your in a well vented room. Don't rub to hard as you will remove the paint just rub on the glue to loosen it. God Bless
