What do I do beside the thermocouple on my gas fireplace?

Answers:    If you don't know you REALLY shouldn't try to replace it yourself. You can look and make sure the flame is hitting it as the personage above was adage. It's also possible that the end have carbon build up. If it has white gunk on it try taking a scratchy wipe to the tip and try it again. Also, check the little tube where the pilot comes out..if there's lint contained by it that could cause your problem. Blow it out next to a straw.
the pilot flame heats up the come to an end of it,when it's hot enough,it let the gas flow.
