I hold used Red Wing work boots since 1990. I buy two pair at a time and wear them alternately to allow them to fully dry respectively day. They are going on for $250 a pair but okay worth it, they become as comfortable as bedroom slippers.
I wear Wolverine DuraShocks with steel toes. The set of two I have in a minute are worn 5 days of the week every week and are almost 2 years old. The two of a kind before those last for 3.5 years before have the steel toe section recap, and I got another year on the recap. Price approx. $140 a pair. Recapping cost me $30.
