Copper pipe feed wash device -- necessitate to connect?

This old house is really getting to me. There is a copper pipe feed the washing device supply faucet. The pipe is corroded and torn. I am going to cut it off and attach a untried pipe with a faucet. I enjoy no way to weld a nouns, so I plan to use an easier type of pipe. What would be the best pipe to use (with faucet on one end and nouns to copper pipe on other end.) Also, how do I connect it so it will not bleed? Please tell me step by step, I am not much of a handyman.


Answers:    You can use compression fittings to create your repair. If when you cut off the impossible section of pipe and the tentative faucet can go contained by that place, then you will not necessitate any copper pipe. Buy a 5/8" compression x 1/2" male threaded fitting. Buy a 1/2" feminine hose bib. Screw those two together and attach the compression fitting to the pipe.

It would be best to solder on new but here is now available a type of epoxy cement approved for copper connections available at plumbing supply and home depot lowes etcetra they will set you up beside the fittings you need and make available you directions.
First you will need to gross a plan, Start with the supply rank and measure it, Is it 1/2 3/4 or 1' pipe. Get a compression fitting that fits it and a PVC fitting for the other finale, Now you can start using PVC, Plan your route as to where the pipe is going to sway, Buy the elbow 90's ,,straight connectors and plenty of pipe. You will need a mitt saw and a can of PVC primer(purple stuff) and PVC cement(Clear stuff) and some Emory cloth. Pre cut your pipe and fit it together and then travel back and primer &glue the parts together and whem you push the parts together supply it a lttle twist, You solely have a few second and it is stuck for ever so pay attention. Be sure to use hanger straps and out of harm`s way the pipe to the wood so that it doesn't jump around when the sea comes on. use a threaded end connector at the other train and secure your fauchet and use hose line tubing to connect it, mount yout fauchet all right and turn the water on slowly at first. check for leakes and you are done.
